Often a problem I run into even before I begin writing is figuring out what I want to write about. Obviously with writing there's a million things to write about but I'll think ahead and wonder how I can stretch out a topic to fit a word count as well as not bore me to death. I think an extremely important tip mentioned in the reading is to write down all ideas that come to mind without worrying about what makes the most sense or will be the easiest to write. Once everything is there you simply can cross out bad ideas and work your way down till you have your favorites; perhaps you'll even be inspired off of ideas that you believed to be foolish. If that doesn't do it for you then you can use other websites as a branch off point for ideas, even if they aren't credible. The world of writing is your oyster, it's just up to you to find the pearl.
