Chapter 14 Blog Post

I think that often a larger part of the problems that students run into when writing research papers, but this goes for any academic writing in general, is the need to find reliable sources to base their arguments. A plethora of opinion pieces or factually inconsistent resources exist on the world of the internet which make it difficult to not only sort through the junk but to identify what is either factually true or objectively true, as well as being an academic source that can responsible be quoted and used. An idea alluded to in the text was to make use of Wikipedia's source list at the end of the page in order to find new places of information on the internet and in order to verify source material as credible or not. Personally I've made great use of this method in my writings in high school as it's a good way to branch out your research extensively.
