A step often skipped over by students when writing a paper is revising it. Let's be honest, no one wants to reread their paper and rewrite a ton of poorly worded sentences after grinding out an entire essay; the idea sounds torturous. But this step is massively important even though it's often given the cold shoulder by students. It's all too easy to make a plethora of mistakes in an essay and once you reread and revise a paper you'll find a lot of spelling errors, oddly worded sentences, bad organization, poor this and poor that. Your paper can and often will be bad from a technical perspective. Revisions of your paper will most certainly iron out all of these issues and help create a better essay. So do your revisions!
